YORK: An Indian American businessman has been awarded by a US business chamber
as its 2013 Ambassador of the Year.

Patel moved to Henderson with his wife and children in 1994 and bought the
Super 8 Motel. In 2011, he purchased the 137-year-old Henderson Hotel building
at Washington and Adams streets, then renovated it into what is now The Gilmore
Inn.

Patel was named as the 2013 Ambassador of the Year by the Henderson Chamber of
Commerce in the city of Henderson in the US state of Kentucky, thegleaner.com
